The proposed Dundonnell Wind Farm project is located approximately 23km north-east of Mortlake, in the Western District of Victoria, Australia. This project has obtained a State Government planning permit and Tilt Renewables is continuing to progress the remaining environmental approvals.

Rye Park Wind Farm

The proposed Rye Park Wind Farm project was initially developed by Epuron beginning in 2008, when the first monitoring mast was installed. Trustpower acquired the project from Epuron in 2014.

The Rye Park Wind Farm is located to the north of Yass and east of Boorowa, New South Wales, on the edge of the Southern Tablelands and the South West Slopes in the vicinity of the township of Rye Park.

Salt Creek Wind Farm

The proposed Salt Creek Wind Farm is located near Woorndoo, around 250km west of Melbourne, in the state of Victoria, Australia. The site is located on a Merino Stud Farm and offers an excellent wind resource. The current planning permit allows construction of up to 15 wind turbines.

Waddi Wind and Solar Farm

The proposed Waddi Wind Farm and Solar Plant is located approximately 15km north-west of the township of Dandaragan and approximately 150 kilometres north of Perth in the mid-west region of Western Australia’s wheatbelt. This area has an outstanding renewable resource, both wind and solar. The wind farm obtained planning approval in January 2012 – Tilt Renewables is currently seeking some minor amendments to this approval along with obtaining environmental approvals for the solar plant.

Western Downs Solar Farm

The proposed Western Downs Solar Farm is located on land surrounding the Powerlink Western Downs sub-station near the Kogan Creek Power Station in Hopeland. The solar farm will be capable of delivering up to 250MW of renewable energy and consist of up to 900 000 solar PV panels on 500ha  and potential battery storage of up to 50MW. The project  would have a generation capacity of up to about one-third that of the adjacent Kogan Creek Power Station


Dysart Solar

200km Southwest of Mackay, QLD

The proposed Dysart Solar Farm is located 8km East of Dysart, Queensland. The solar farm will consist of up to 360,000 solar PV panels on 280ha of land South East of the Dysart substation. The land is currently used as cropping land. It will be capable of delivering up to 100MW of renewable energy.

The energy generated will be injected into the national electricity grid at the existing Dysart substation.

We anticipate submitting a planning application for the project in July 2017.

Snowtown North Solar Farm

The Snowtown North Solar Farm is a large-scale solar farm that will generate up to 50 MW of solar energy, 10 km west of Snowtown and 170 km north of Adelaide in South Australia.

The solar farm will consist of up to 180,000 solar photovoltaic (PV) panels and potential battery storage of up to 25 MW. It will be located on 100 ha of cleared farming land next to the existing Tilt Renewables’ Snowtown Stage 1 Wind Farm substation.

Chewko Solar Farm

8km south-west of Mareeba, QLD

The proposed Chewko Solar Farm is planned to be located eight kilometres south-west of Mareeba, Queensland. 

The proposed solar farm will consist of about 200,000 solar PV panels and will be capable of delivering up to 75MW of renewable energy. It will be located on 150 hectares south-west of Mareeba on land that is currently used for grazing cattle.

 

New Zealand

Kaiwera Downs

Kaiwera Downs Wind Farm is an exciting wind generation project, proposed for farmland located south east of Gore in the South Island. Resource Consents for the project were granted in late 2008. The consents allow for the construction of up to 83 wind turbines or 240MW of capacity.

Mahinerangi Wind Farm - Stage 2

Mahinerangi Wind Farm lies 7km north of Lake Mahinerangi, in the South Island of New Zealand. Stage one was commissioned in 2011. Resource Consents were granted in 2009 to allow for the construction of up to 100 wind turbines or 200MW of capacity, so there is significant opportunity to expand the development from the 12 turbine Stage 1 project, at some point. When complete, the wind farm will potentially have an average annual output over 600GWh, helping to meet New Zealand’s future energy needs.
