Tilt Renewables’ Board of Directors is responsible for key strategy and decision making. The team has a wealth of experience in the energy and wider business sectors to draw from.

Bruce has extensive experience in corporate governance and energy markets with a focus on renewable energy development. He was a Director of Trustpower Limited from 2000 and Board Chair from 2007 to 2015 and he is an executive of H.R.L. Morrison & Co, the manager of Infratil. Bruce previously chaired the Australian hydro business, Southern Hydro Partnership and was deputy chair of ASX listed Energy Developments Limited. He also chaired start up electricity retailer, Lumo, previously Victoria Electricity over the period from 2004 to 2012 from its first signed customer through to 500,000 customers.

Paul’s experience includes management of listed and unlisted investments across the energy, utilities and infrastructure sectors in Australia, NZ and Europe. He is a director of H.R.L. Morrison & Co Australia and the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre Public Private Partnership. Paul is the Chief Investment Officer of H.R.L.Morrison & Co, the manager of Infratil, where he has overall responsibility for analysing investment markets, directing origination activity and assessing specific investment opportunities. Prior to joining H.R.L. Morrison & Co in 2008, Paul was a Principal at The Boston Consulting Group.
Phillip has extensive experience, both at a governance and executive level. He is a current director of the Great Barrier Reef Foundation where he is also Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee andwas the President of the Australian Aluminium Council. Phillip held a number of executive roles within the Rio Tinto Group, including Chief Financial Officer at Rio Tinto Aluminium in Brisbane, and Chief Financial Officer at Rio Tinto Alcan in Montreal. Phillip has merger and acquisition experience, and was involved in developing and driving the strategy and leading the operations of a global business.
Geoff has over 25 years of experience in micro-economic reform, notably in the establishment of competitive energy markets and privatisation in Australia and New Zealand and in the development of water industries in Australia and Asia. Geoff has been an Independent director of Trustpower Limited since 2007. Other governance roles include Director of Melbourne consulting firm, Farrier Swier Consulting, board member of Health Purchasing Victoria and a member of the ARENA Advisory Panel. Geoff’s past roles include being a Member of the Australian Energy Regulator and Associate Member of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.

Vimal is an Investment Director of H.R.L. Morrison & Co's Energy and Renewable Sector team. Vimal has been involved in the development and acquisition of power and renewable energy projects and related supply chain companies across Europe, the US and South Africa. Previously he was a Director in PwC's UK Corporate Finance Infrastructure team, and held roles in the energy industry, private equity and investment banking.
Fiona is an experienced board director, and has New Zealand and overseas executive experience in asset management, funds management, and private equity. She is currently on the board of Wynyard Group Limited, Vinta Funds Management Limited (Chairperson), Public Trust (Deputy Chairperson), and the National Provident Fund. Fiona is also a member of the Inland Revenue Department's Risk and Assurance Committee. Previously Fiona was the Chief Operating Officer of Westpac New Zealand's funds management subsidiary, BT Funds Management. She also managed risk and operations for AMP Limited's Australian and UK private equity division, and was General Manager, Wealth Management at AMP New Zealand.

Chief Executive Officer
Robert’s career includes senior roles in corporate and institutional banking and renewable energy development in emerging markets. Robert joined Trustpower in 2004 and was Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary for 12 years. In these roles he was been responsible for over $1.3 billion of debt funding facilities, capital raising, investor relations, treasury, financial reporting, group insurance and risk management. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants New Zealand and Australia and a chartered member of the NZ Institute of Directors.
Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary
Steve is a very experienced senior executive in the Australian energy sector having previously held senior financial and general management roles at Palisade Investment Partners, Roaring 40’s, Epic Energy and what is now Energy Australia. Steve has a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree and is a Certified Practicing Accountant; Steve is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Steve joined the Tilt Renewable team in November 2016 as the Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary after working as the interim Chief Financial Officer of Tilt Renewables for the five months prior to that as part of the Trustpower demerger process.

Generation & Trading
Deion joined Trustpower in July 2001 and was General Manager Generation from May 2011 – March 2016, where he had responsibility for safety, environment, development, maintenance and operations activities for 50 power stations across Australia and New Zealand. In addition to this successful development background, Deion has also driven innovation in wind farm maintenance strategies and commercial frameworks, in collaboration with leading turbine suppliers. Previous roles at Trustpower included Major Projects Manager, leading the development, construction and operation of wind and hydro generation projects worth over $1 billion in New Zealand and Australia.
Clayton has had extensive input into all of Tilt Renewables’ Australasian development projects having first joined Trustpower in 2002. He spent a period of time in North America working on large scale renewable developments and returned to Trustpower in 2007. Since this time he has held several roles including Project Delivery Manager, responsible for a number of successful wind and hydro projects, as well as a term as Acting General Manager Generation, and Engineering Manager.
