Dundonnell Wind Farm is now fully operational with the final commissioning and certification complete.
Following an assessment of the final commissioning outcomes, final practical completion was backdated
to 17 June 2022. The completion of our largest operating wind farm marks an exciting milestone for Tilt
Renewables and Victoria.
This achievement comes on the back of a journey lasting over a decade where we, in partnership with our
host landholders, delivery partners and local and state government have taken the project from planning,
into construction and now operation. We have continued to learn on this journey and even now are
applying these lessons on our projects across Australia.
The 336 MW Dundonnell Wind Farm will avoid up to 1,300,000 tonnes of carbon emissions every year
while bringing lasting benefits to the local community, economy, and environment. The Dundonnell Wind
Farm now generates enough clean energy to power approximately 245,000 homes – more than Ballarat,
Geelong, and Warrnambool combined.
Tilt Renewables would like to express our gratitude to our host landholders who have worked with us to
realise this achievement.
We would also like to thank the Community Fund Committee for your help administering the fund. We are in the process of organising a celebration to mark this milestone and will be in contact soon with the event details.
