The Nonowie Wind Farm will bring direct and indirect employment opportunities.
Typical goods and services likely to be sourced locally during construction include accommodation, engineering, freight services, construction materials and equipment, local labour, technical contractors, earth works services, fencing and landscaping.
The types of jobs typically created during construction include:
- Domestic scale electricians
- Transport operators
- Competent machine operators
- General labourers
- Quarries

Community Benefits
We offer short and long-term community benefits to local individuals, organisations and businesses including community-run organizations, underrepresented groups, First Nation communities, landcare initiatives, youth and jobseekers.
In 2024, we delivered funding to multiple organisations within the local community. These include:
