Nonowie Wind Farm – Project Benefits

Our commitment to the environment and a sustainable future goes beyond the renewable assets we own. All of our projects have a focus on preserving cultural heritage and minimising our impact on the environment.

We are committed to delivering enduring economic, environmental, and social benefits for the local community through the life of this project.

To date, Tilt has spent almost $50,000 supporting the Whyalla and surrounding community with community benefits and sponsorships. We will continue to invest smaller amounts during development of the Project until the full community benefit program commences in construction.

 

The Nonowie Wind Farm will also bring direct and indirect employment opportunities. Typical goods and services likely to be sourced locally during construction include  freight services, construction materials and equipment, local labour, technical contractors, earth works services, fencing and landscaping.
