Triamble Wind Farm

Tilt Renewables is investigating the potential for a wind farm and integrated Battery Energy Storage System in Triamble, New South Wales.  

 

The Triamble Wind Farm would contribute to Australia’s clean energy future whilst creating local jobs and providing support for community initiatives.

 

The Project is in the early feasibility stage, with work underway to understand the suitability of the site for a wind farm.

 

This Project could generate up to 400MW of clean energy. That’s enough to power 240,000 households.

 

The project could also include a 300MW (2 to 4 hour) Battery Energy Storage System.

Site Description

The Project area is located around 35km south-west of Mudgee in the Mid-Western Regional Council and Dubbo Regional Council local government areas.

The Project would include up to 106 turbines, at a tip height of up to 240 metres. The number of turbines and height will be confirmed following community feedback and review of environmental and technical studies.

Project status

Triamble Wind Farm is currently in the feasibility stage. Tilt Renewables is investigating the suitability of the site and project.

We are undertaking early engagement with key stakeholders and First Nations organisations to help understand the feasibility of Triamble Wind Farm.

We will continue to work with host landholders and our neighbours to keep you informed on what is happening.

As the Project progresses, we will engage with the community about design and community benefits opportunities.
