Nonowie Wind Farm
The Nonowie Wind Farm will generate the clean energy needed to power homes and industries in South Australia.
The Nonowie Wind Farm is a proposed wind farm 10km west of Whyalla. The site is approximately 22,800 hectares and is located on the lands of the Barngarla People.
The Project will generate the clean energy needed to power new industries in South Australia. The Project will also bring employment opportunities to the local community, along with community investment benefits.
The Nonowie Wind Farm is in the planning and design phase, with environmental and technical investigations underway. These assessments will help inform the design of the Nonowie Wind Farm.
The Nonowie Wind Farm also includes the option for a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) on the site.
